Dutch rental listings for rental platforms
If you run a platform, app or website with rental listings, the hard part is not displaying them. It is collecting them from hundreds of sources and keeping them current.
The problem with many sources
Dutch rentals are published by agencies, housing associations and listing sites, each with its own format and its own changes over time. Building and maintaining a connection per source is a project by itself. WoningMe does that work and offers the result through one API and one schema.
A typical integration
- Define searches for the areas and segments your platform serves, for example one per city.
- Load listings from the properties endpoint, sorted and paginated with a cursor, into your own database or cache.
- Stay current with an account webhook that tells you about each new matching listing.
- Link out to the original listing with
url, and show theagentwhen it is provided.
What to keep in mind
- Fields can be
nullwhen a source does not publish them. Design your listing page for that. - Rent is in euro cents. Segment flags tell you whether a listing is social, mid-market or private.
- The API is for rentals only, and it is not meant for copying the entire dataset in bulk.
Commercial use
The Personal plan (€15/month) is intended for personal and non-commercial use, with the limits described in the documentation. A rental platform is a commercial use case, and it usually needs different volumes, terms or support than the Personal plan offers.
Let's talk. Tell us what you are building and we will look at the possibilities together: explore collaboration.
Meanwhile you can prototype with the Personal plan to see whether the data fits. Start with the rental listings API guide.
