You can request the deletion of your Woning.me account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a request and what happens to your data.

How to request account deletion

Because account deletion requires identity verification, requests must be submitted by email from the address linked to your account.

  1. Open your email app and compose a new message to info@woning.me.
  2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request.
  3. In the body, include the email address you registered with in the Woning.me app.
  4. Send the email. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and process your request within 30 days.

What data is deleted or kept

Data type Action Retention period
Account (email, display name) Deleted Immediately upon processing
Saved search filters Deleted Immediately upon processing
Push notification tokens Deleted Immediately upon processing
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose all saved searches and will need to create a new account if you wish to use Woning.me again.
